I've just today competed the Business Development Toolkit for Professionals that I've been working on. You can find a link to the sign-up form on this page.
The toolkit is aimed at Professionals such as Business Psychologists, HR Consultants, Health and Safety Consultants and Occupational Health Practitioners - in fact any Professional who sells services to businesses and organisations based on their area of expertise. It will also be useful for organisations such as Colleges, Universities and Local Authorities where the organisation is in a position to promote (and generate income from) its professional / 'expert' services to other organisations.
As you might expect, it includes the tools I use and recommend, but it's much more than that. I also explain in some detail a business development process I've developed called MEETS. This process has events at its heart and helps Professionals build relationships with the people most interested in the topics or issues the Professional wants to market around or has expertise in.
I hope you like it. Here's the link again for you.
I had confirmation recently that I was going to be a speaker at this year's Association of Business Psychologists Conference. The title of my presentation is Selling Business Psychology. Many psychologists and stress management consultants are genuine experts and deliver great services to their clients. However, they often struggle when it comes to marketing and developing their business.
My slot at the conference is going to be an interactive workshop about the business of business psychology, about how to develop and grow a sustainable and financially rewarding business.
I have a real passion for business development. It's great to have the opportunity to share this passion and help professional colleagues in this area. Information about the Conference can be downloaded below. It's going to be a great event (and that's not just because I'm presenting!). Maybe see you there?
